Summer Herb & Flower Planting
What this month's class is about: Kids will get their hands in the dirt and leave with something truly alive. Each child will start by decorating their own terracotta pot using paint and acrylic markers…colors, patterns, whatever feels like them! Then they will choose an herb or flower to plant inside. To finish it off, every child will create a handmade label for their plant so they know exactly what they're growing. It's a creative, grounding class that blends art-making with a little bit of nature magic, and every kid goes home with a living plant to care for all summer.
Age Group: Kinder – 5th Grade
Class Duration: 1 and a half hours (Drop off/Pick up only)
Location: Palms, West LA – Outdoor backyard craft setup (address provided after enrollment)
Date & Time: Sunday, July 12th, 2026 — 12:00 PM - 1:30pm Arrive 10 minutes early for seating + kindness rules
Class Size: Maximum 8 students

A terracotta pot, paint, acrylic markers, and a plant of their choice

Gentle, encouraging guidance
Screen-free outdoor time
Mailed film photos of your child crafting (once developed)
What to Bring A water bottle, comfy clothes that can get a little messy, and anything your child needs for allergies/medical support.

Safety Notes A bathroom buddy system is used, and all sharp or hot tools are handled only by the instructor. Creating with Cami is fully background checked, with CPR/First Aid certification in progress.
