Lantern Painting Day: A Kami x Cami's Craft Club Collab
What this class is about: Cami's Craft Club is teaming up with Kami… the sustainable, renter-friendly lantern company started by a group of college students, for a special one-day collaboration. Each child will get their very own lantern to paint, decorate, and make completely their own, using a set of paints and add-ons laid out at their spot. No two lanterns will look the same, and every child leaves with a piece they made themselves and a new light for their room.
Age Group: Kinder – 4th Grade
Class Duration: 1.5 hours — Drop off/Pick up only
Location: Palms, West LA – Outdoor backyard craft setup (exact address provided after enrollment)
Date & Time: Sunday, October 4th, 2026 — 11:00 AM–12:30 PM. Arrive 10 minutes early for seating + kindness rules. (A second 1:00–2:30 PM session may open if the first class fills up.)
Class Size: Limited spots, this is a discounted, community-priced class held in partnership with ASTEME, and registration closes Friday, September 25th to finalize headcount and materials. Sign up early to save your child's seat!

What to Bring A water bottle, comfy clothes that can get a little messy, and anything your child needs for allergies/medical support.
Photo Policy A professional photographer will be capturing the event, and parents will have access to the photos afterward. At checkout, you'll have the option to opt in if you're comfortable with select photos being used across Cami's Craft Club, ASTEME, or Kami's site and socials. If not, only non-identifiable images (hands, backs of heads, materials, etc.) would be used publicly.
Safety Notes A bathroom buddy system is used, and all sharp or hot tools are handled only by the instructor. Creating with Cami is fully background checked, with CPR/First Aid certification in progress.
